Rubbish, small electricals and batteries

Household rubbish is collected weekly. All waste must be inside your rubbish bin, placed ideally within tied carrier bags or sacks. No waste outside of the bin will be collected, apart from small electricals and batteries.

Bins must be out ready for collection by 7.30am on your collection day.

You can check the status of your collection, find out what you can and can't put in your bin and report any problems on the .

To reduce the amount of rubbish we collect, think before you throw and reduce, reuse and recycle where you can.

Problems or changes

If you know you were due a collection and think we have missed your bin, you can tell us online. We can check the status of your collection in real time and let you know if there was a problem with your bin.
